How the rankings work
- Results only. Each team's rating is an Elo rating built from every resolved match we have for that game (resolved Polymarket and Kalshi match markets, which name Liquipedia as the resolution source). A 2-0 sweep counts for more than a close 2-1 (margin of victory). Idle teams drift back toward the average.
- Valorant is split into two pools. The main Valorant rankings cover the VCT and open circuit (tier-1 VCT, Challengers/VCL and open third-party events). Valorant Game Changers is ranked separately, and the two pools never share rating points. A match counts as Game Changers if its event name says "Game Changers" or "GC", or a team is named "… GC", "… Female" or "… Gozen". Untagged matches go to a team's usual circuit. A roster that has played in both circuits gets a separate rating in each, built only from that circuit's matches.
- Active teams only. To be ranked, a team needs a match in the 90 days before the snapshot and at least 10 rated matches. During the season, Valorant teams also need 3+ matches in their pool in the last 90 days. Each row shows the date of the team's last match. In an offseason the rankings stay frozen at the last results, and we say so.
- Frozen weekly. Each week's table uses results that started before Monday 00:00 ET. It's saved the first time the updater runs that week and never edited. The arrows compare against the previous saved week. The first week shown before this site launched (Oct 12, 2026) was rebuilt from the same results using the same method, and it's labelled "reconstructed". The Valorant weeks (Oct 12 and Oct 19) were rebuilt on Oct 19, before launch, when Game Changers got its own pool.
- Coverage. We only see matches that Kalshi or Polymarket listed, which skews toward higher-profile events. Teams that rarely appear on those venues can be under-rated.
- Informational, not betting advice. A ranking isn't a pick. In our backtests, the market's own price predicted results better than these ratings. To trade, compare prices across venues.
